2026 NAACP ACT-SO Competition
Here's a write up you can include on the website:
If you're a high school student with serious acting skills -- the NAACP ACT-SO competition is built for you!
ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics) is a program that pairs you with mentors, sharpens your craft, and puts you in competition with other talented students.
Here's how it works:
You register using this link. You get matched with a local mentor. You develop your performance. You compete at our local competition — and if you win gold, you advance to the national ACT-SO finals in Chicago this July, where students from across the country compete for scholarships, prizes, and national recognition.
Register by March 31st.
Our local competition takes place April 18th at Parc Village 2323 Moss St. Lafayette, LA. Space is limited — don't wait. Register now!
